Keeping this in mind the NED University of Engineering and Technology is organizing a Career Fair for its students on 19th September 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This the first-ever All Faculty based Career Fair organized by NEDUET for which the students of SUNTEC (The Society for the promotion of Science, Engineering, and Technology) in collaboration with the Directorate of Industrial Liaison are working for the previous 3 months. The students from more than 28+ departments and 6 different faculties will be participating in this career fair which includes Faculty of Civil and Petroleum Engineering (CPL), Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (MME), Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Faculty of Information Sciences and Humanities (ISH), Faculty of Chemical & Process Engineering (CPE) and Faculty of Architecture & Management Sciences (AMS). Career Fair is an event that is organized to help employers at a convenient location to meet, select and hire the best prospective job seeker for their organization. Job Fair includes company or organization tables or booths where resumes can be collected and business cards can be exchanged. Job Fair does not only facilitate the organization only but helps to bridge and maintaining relations with the external environment by creating events for top talent to meet the most innovative companies in their industries.
The Career Fair at NEDUET is
basically designed to provide a platform to the graduated students, prospective
employers from the industries, HR consultants and career counseling firms to
interact for each other’s mutual benefits for which more than 20+ industries
will be participating in this Career Fair. This event will be basically divided
into two sessions, in the 1st session (Inauguration) will be conducted at the
auditorium and will be addressed by prominent personalities from NED and
Industries while the 2nd Session (Career Fair) will be dedicated to one to one
meeting of personnel from the Industry with the students and faculty members.
